For the 2026 meeting, DDW will offer in-person and virtual presentation options:
Oral and Poster Submissions
Abstracts submitted for oral or poster presentation will be considered for presentation on-site at DDW 2026 in Chicago, IL. If an abstract is selected for presentation, the presenting author is required to register for and attend DDW 2026 in person and present their abstract at McCormick Place Convention Centerr at the date and time specified in their acceptance notification.
Video Abstract Submissions
Video abstracts submitted by the Dec. 4 deadline will also be considered for presentation on-site at DDW. If a video abstract is selected, the presenting author must attend DDW 2026 in person at McCormick Place Convention Center to provide live narration to the video at the date and time specified in the abstract acceptance notification.
ePoster Submissions
Authors unable to attend DDW 2026 in person should select the “ePoster only” presentation option when submitting their abstract. ePoster-only abstract submissions will be considered for electronic presentation at the DDW ePosters site during DDW 2026. If selected for presentation, ePoster presenters are required to register for DDW and upload an ePoster file to the DDW 2026 ePosters site.
